This report is an update on food hygiene enforcement in Wales.

In January 2014 the Minister for Health and Social Services commissioned the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to carry out a stocktake in Wales.

The resulting report confirms how the recommendations from the ‘2009 Pennington Public Inquiry report into the outbreak of E.coli O157 in South Wales in 2005’ have been addressed.

It includes an update on progress over the last 5 years, the position now, and a look forward at the next 5 years.
